I’m Rick Parker from Lancaster, UK. Travel has always been part of who I am, and any excuse to head somewhere new is a good one. In 2022, things took a turn I didn’t see coming. I met my other half, a seasoned diver, who suggested I give scuba a try. A few months later I was in Tulamben, Bali, pulling on a wetsuit for my PADI Open Water course. That first breath underwater changed everything.
Since then, diving has become more than a pastime. It’s a whole new way of exploring. Sure, it can be pricey at times, but the places you reach, the people you meet, and the experiences you get are worth it. Some moments just can’t be measured.
This site is where I share that journey. From drifting alongside turtles to photographing the tiniest nudibranchs, and from beachside dives to exploring local food and culture, it’s all part of the adventure.

Where I’ve Been Diving
I’ve been lucky enough to see so much of the world, but my dive story only began in 2022 when I took my PADI Open Water course in Bali. Since then, I’ve been hooked and always looking for the next underwater adventure. I don’t really keep a traditional logbook, my joy is updating this site and my map with each new destination.
